Dr. Heff’s Remarkable Mints were invented and developed by Dr Mike Heffernan and Dr Toby Edwards-Lunn, two practising dentists from the south of England who both graduated from Guy’s Hospital in London.
Mike is a specialist dentist who has won awards for his research in the United States and Toby is a partner in a successful general practice in Eastbourne. Both are passionate about finding ways to bring tooth care out of the bathroom (and the dentist’s surgery) so that people can look after their teeth wherever they are and whatever they’re doing.
The idea for Dr. Heff’s Remarkable Mints came in a rare flash of inspiration at a dental conference in London, when Toby and Mike discovered by chance that they were both trying to solve one of dentistry’s great dilemmas: how can dentists help their patients combat tooth decay as it occurs throughout the day.
Although there is already a significant body of scientific research on the benefits of Xylitol, they felt they could do better – and invent a new mint that was truly revolutionary!
Unique Formulation
The unique formula includes green tea extract, calcium phosphate, xylitol and natural peppermint oil which actively repairs your teeth, while you enjoy the refreshing taste.
These extraordinary mints reduce the acidity levels in your mouth more quickly by increasing the production of saliva, creating the right conditions for remineralisation to occur.
